Application Onboarding

Application Onboarding is the process of bringing a system under identity governance.

Application Onboarding is the process of bringing a system under identity governance. It includes identifying owners, integrating account and entitlement data, defining correlation and provisioning rules, documenting access, applying policies and testing lifecycle and review controls.

An application is not fully governed merely because it supports single sign-on. IGA must also establish visibility, accountability, lifecycle control and evidence.
