A Disconnected Application is a system that is governed by IGA without a direct automated connector for reading or changing access. Requests and reviews may be tracked centrally, but fulfillment or evidence collection occurs through tickets, files, email or manual tasks.
Disconnected governance is better than no governance, but it requires reconciliation and strong completion evidence to prevent access drift.
