Identity Source

An identity source is a system that supplies identity records or attributes to IGA.

An identity source is a system that supplies identity records or attributes to IGA. Examples include HR systems, contractor databases, customer directories and machine-identity registries.

A source may be authoritative for some attributes but not others. IGA designs should document field-level authority, matching rules, update frequency, conflict handling and lifecycle triggers.
