The joiner-mover-leaver (JML) process manages access when a person joins an organization, changes responsibilities or leaves.

The joiner-mover-leaver (JML) process manages access when a person joins an organization, changes responsibilities or leaves. A mature process also handles rehires, concurrent assignments, leave, contract extensions, conversions and urgent terminations.

The mover stage is frequently the hardest: new access must be added while obsolete access is actively removed to prevent privilege creep.
