A lifecycle event is a trusted change that may require an identity or access action. Examples include hire, transfer, promotion, leave, contract expiry, manager change, termination, application retirement or workload decommissioning.
IGA translates events into policy-based actions and verifies the result. Each event needs a defined source, effective time, precedence and exception path.
