Role Model

A role model defines an organization's roles, relationships, hierarchies, ownership, assignment rules and constraints.

A role model is the complete governed design of roles and their relationships, including business roles, technical roles, hierarchies, ownership, assignment criteria, constraints and lifecycle rules.

A role model should be measured for coverage, accuracy, exceptions, duplication, change frequency and policy violations—not merely the number of roles created.
