Unstructured Data Access Governance

Unstructured data access governance controls access to files, folders, collaboration sites, messages and similar content.

Unstructured data access governance is the governance of access to files, folders, collaboration sites, messages and other content that does not reside in a fixed relational schema. It examines direct permissions, groups, links, inheritance, external sharing and data sensitivity.

This discipline extends IGA toward data-level effective access and commonly requires data discovery, classification and ownership capabilities.
